Q: I hear you make the best cupcakes in Torrance, is that true?
A: Yes! We hear it time and again from customers that we make the best cupcakes in all of Los Angeles! Stop in and find out for yourself :D
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We accept cash, of course. We also accept Visa or MasterCard for transactions of $10 and up.
Q: Is there a limit to how many cupcakes I can buy if I just walk in during business hours?
A: No! We are here to sell our wonderful cupcakes, if we have them, you can buy them : )
Q: Are your cupcakes made fresh on the premises?
A: Yes. All of our cakes and frostings are made fresh, from scratch, daily.
Q: Do you use quality ingredients?
A: Yes. We use many high quality, name brand and organic ingredients. We make truly gourmet cupcakes, with truly fine ingredients : )
Q: Do you offer local delivery?
A: Yes. We can deliver within a 5 mile radius. Fees depend on distance and whether you need simple delivery or delivery and set up.
Q: How much notice is needed for event orders?
A: We love to get a week or two notice for event orders, but can often work with a few days notice. Often times we can also fulfill last minute orders, providing they aren't needing special customization.
Q: If I want to order a flavor that’s not currently being offered how many do I have to order?
A: We require a minimum of a dozen (Classic sized) per special request flavor.
Q: Can you match my party theme?
A: Yes, we offer many great variations for dressing up your Cuppies for special events.
Q: Is there an extra charge for custom colors, toppings, etc?
A: Yes. Once you let us know exactly what you want, we will let you know how we can meet your needs and what the additional cost will be for customization.
Q: Do you offer accommodations for special diet?
A: Yes. We offer gluten-free, vegan, gluten-free/vegan and low sugar Cuppies and cakes upon special order and also carry special diet Cuppies in our freezer merchandiser. We can make many of our flavors in these options. We require a minimum of a dozen per flavor for special orders. See our Special Diet page for more details.
Q: Do you sell cakes?
A: Yes. We offer custom cake and grab-n go-ice cream cakes! Custom cakes must be ordered at least one week prior to pick up date.
Q: Do you have more than one size of cupcakes?
A: Yes. We offer four sizes; Poppers (tiny one bite minis), Party Bites (between the size of a mini cupcake and a standard size cupcake) our Classic Cuppie (standard size cupcake) and Jumbo Cuppies (approx. 50% larger than classic). We always have Party Bites and Classics in stock and Poppers are limited daily. Jumbos are available for event orders only.
Q: Do you sell drinks?
A: Yes. We offer organic coffee drinks & hot teas, bottled spring water, sparkling water, organic milks, juices, teas, specialty sodas, etc.
Q: Do you have special packaging for gifted Cuppies?
A: Yes. We offer several options to help you present your Cuppies in a very special way.
Q: What’s the best way to transport my cupcakes in the car?
A: We recommend you place them on the floor, or in the trunk of your car. We do not recommend placing them on the seat, as most seats have a certain level of slant to them and frosting may decide to slide off to the side if they are left in this position during the ride home. We also recommend you not stack the boxes, unless we’ve stacked them snuggly in bags for you. If you have an order of several dozen we will either bag them for you, or wrap them with plastic wrap so they don’t slip around for the ride home. DO NOT leave them in a warm/hot car for any amount of time, the frosting will melt and slip and we cannot guarantee the state of these delicate little babies once they leave our shop.
Q: What’s the best way to store my cupcakes?
A: They may be left out for the day (away from sunlight) but anything beyond that we recommend they be kept in the fridge. They will keep several days in the fridge and they may even be wrapped in plastic wrap or put in Tupperware containers and put in the freezer for longer term storage.
Q: Do you have more than one location?
A: No, not at this time. Cuppies is a family owned and operated business. We currently only have our Torrance location.
Q: If I place a special event order, when do I pay?
A: When you place your order we require payment in full at that time in order to get you on the schedule. If you decide to cancel an order you will be issued store credit. If we purchased special deco for your order, the refund will be less the cost of such items.
